Expand description

Limits applied before and during leaf-module certification.

Fields§

§max_expanded_blocks: usize

Maximum blocks in one expanded definition, including both branch arms and child Ports before seam removal. Also caps the aggregate blocks retained by one guarded topology’s projection cache and local views.

§max_expanded_instances: usize

Maximum module instances in one expanded definition, including its root.

§max_occupied_cells: usize

Maximum sum of occupied footprint cells in one expanded definition. Overlapping branch alternatives count separately. Also caps the aggregate retained footprints in one guarded topology’s projection cache and local views.

§max_local_columns: usize

Maximum ZX columns in one leaf definition.

§max_boolean_nodes: usize

Maximum allocated nodes in one Boolean arena, including dead intermediates until explicit garbage collection.

§max_boolean_steps: usize

Maximum cumulative Boolean, row, and query work in one decision arena. Unlimited by default; set a finite value for an explicit work budget.

§max_matrix_words: usize

Maximum accounted dense matrix storage, in 64-bit words.

§max_frontier_width: usize

Maximum public interface or live composition width. Independent parent connectors are projected and joined separately under the same limit.

§max_witness_nodes: usize

Maximum nodes in one correlation-witness proof arena. Guarded readout planning reclaims dead functions at reduction boundaries before checking this limit; transient operations may allocate more.

§max_normalization_states: usize

Maximum attempts in one normalization pass. Internal prefixes, rejected candidates, and terminal solves are charged before affine work.

§max_guarded_domain_size: usize

Maximum distinct patterns in one guarded local topology/Pauli query. Continuing branches never enumerate the joint selector assignment space.

Implementations§

Source§

impl ModuleCertificationLimits

Source

pub const DEFAULT: Self

Production limits. Cumulative Boolean work is unlimited; allocation, materialization, and normalization-search limits remain finite.

Source

pub const UNLIMITED: Self

Disables all explicit certification limits.

Source

pub const FIELD_NAMES: [&'static str; 11]

Field names accepted by set.

Source

pub const RESOURCE_LIMIT_HELP: &'static str = "increase the matching ModuleCertificationLimits field (or set it to usize::MAX); compilation accepts these through CompileConfig::with_certification_limits; see https://bloqec.com/docs/dev/api/rust/bloq_graph/struct.ModuleCertificationLimits.html"

Configuration guidance included in certification resource diagnostics.

Source

pub fn set( &mut self, field: &str, value: usize, ) -> Result<(), UnknownCertificationLimit>

Sets a certification limit by its public field name.

usize::MAX disables that cap; zero refuses any use of that resource.

§Errors

Returns UnknownCertificationLimit for a name outside FIELD_NAMES, without changing any limit.

Source

pub const fn boolean_limits(self) -> BooleanLimits

Returns the Boolean arena limits used during certification.
