BinaryDecodeError

Enum BinaryDecodeError

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum BinaryDecodeError { BadMagic, Truncated, UnsupportedVersion { found: u8, }, Payload(Error), TrailingData { extra: usize, }, }
Expand description

Why a byte buffer failed to decode as a binary .bloq artifact.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

BadMagic

Input does not start with the Bloq binary magic bytes.

§

Truncated

Input ends before its version byte or payload.

§

UnsupportedVersion

Input uses an unsupported binary format version.

Fields

§found: u8

Version read from the input.

§

Payload(Error)

Postcard could not decode the payload.

§

TrailingData

Bytes remain after the decoded program.

Fields

§extra: usize

Number of trailing bytes.
